Also, the presence of all the APC gubernatorial aspirants that vied in the APC gubernatorial primaries under the aegis “Aspirants Support Group”, showed solidarity and provided added steam to the support of the man they referred to as the “Consolidator” of the good works the state has constantly experienced.

Ambode spoke of his happiness to be among his kinsmen, and promised not to disappoint them as he further canvassed for their total support in the forthcoming elections.

“I am so happy to get this impressive turnout from my kinsmen. You have made me proud and at the same time humbled by standing by me and the party and I will not let you down”, Ambode reassured.

He added that the whole of Epe will experience further development that betters the one seen under the present government.

“I promise rapid and wondrous development, both infrastructural and economic, that will attract more investments, create jobs and engage our youths. There will be prosperity for all and Epe will be a new town”.

“As the elections draw near, I urge you all to take it as an important one, which offers the chance of continuity here in our state and change at the centre. I need your votes to achieve the excellence we continually deserve in Lagos, and also your votes for the APC Presidential candidates to get more. To this end, you all eligible to votes must ensure collection of your Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) to effect this change”, stated Ambode.
