Ambode Restates Commitment to Sports Development

Akinwunmi Ambode was the Chief Guest at the finals of a football tournament organized by the All Stars International sports Organisation to promote sports in Lagos state. The tournament, called “BRF Sports Fiesta” was inaugurated in 2007, and its 2015 edition was staged in honour of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the state.

Ambode, an ardent sports lover himself, commissioned the final match held between Festac Allstars and Managers FC at the Eagles Club football field, Surulere.

Ambode used the moment to restate his commitment to the development of sports in Lagos, noting further that the next four years will see an addition to the sports facilities and complexes to engage the youths across the state.

In the course of the event, Ambode received a heart-warming song presentation from the students of the Bethesda Home for the Blind, who passionately sang all the campaign theme songs of Mr. Ambode with impressive accuracy.
