In order to clear the air and put an end to malicious rumours, the All Progressives Congress Governorship Candidate for Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode has released the Certificate of Service issued to him upon his retirement from the Lagos State Civil Service. He has also made public the commendation letter written to him by the incumbent Governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) after his retirement.
The Certificate of Service shows that Akinwunmi Ambode voluntarily resigned from the Civil Service. The certificate which was signed on December 19, 2012, stated the date of resignation as September 1, 2012 and scored Akinwunmi Ambode “Excellent” under efficiency. The reverse side of the certificate shows a summary of posts held and for what periods.
The commendation letter by the Governor describes Mr. Ambode in glowing terms and states his outstanding work to Lagos State.
In addition, Mr Ambode released a commendation letter by his former lecturer at the University of Lagos, Prof. Eddy Omotelinhwa.
The release of these documents will further cement Mr. Ambode’s reputation as a very credible and competent candidate to govern Lagos.
