Lagos state gubernatorial candidate, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, today received a courtesy visit from a delegation of the British High Commission in Nigeria.
He met with the British High Commissioner, Dr. Andrew Pocock, the Vice Consul, Sue Hewer, and the consulate’s Communication Manager, Mr. Wale Adebajo.
Considering the important position of Lagos state in matters of national development, the High Commissioner’s visit was intended to get well posted about the plans of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, especially now that the elections are near.
Mr. Ambode promised the delegation that he will employ his tested competence, experience and mastery in the matters of good governance to ensure a Lagos that works for all, indigenes and foreigners alike. He said his programmes are poised to make Lagos keep playing a key role as regards issues of national interest.
