Akinwunmi Ambode Pays Condolence Visit to the Molade Okoya-Thomas Family

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Lagos, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, today paid a condolence visit to the family of the late leading industrialist and business mogul, and Chairman of CFAO Nigeria Limited, Chief Molade Okoya-Thomas at the late Chief’s residence in Lagos. He was joined by his running mate, Dr. (Mrs) Oluranti Adebule.

He was received by the daughter of the deceased, Mrs. Oluwatosin Alobo-Bakare, after which he expressed his deep sympathy for the loss.

“We do hope that you will take solace in the great life of Chief Okoya, and the legacy of service and industry that he left behind”‘ Ambode said.

He added that it is without any shred of doubt that Chief Okoya will forever be remembered as a philanthropist, a great industrialist and one of the illustrious sons of Lagos and Nigeria as a whole.

He prayed for the family that God almighty will give them the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.

Ambode wrote thus on the condolence register, “The most inspiring sports legend, an illustrious son of Lagos; a pride of all Nigeria. My promise to you is to keep your good works going in whatever position I find myself. True love always, PAPA SLEEP WELL”.
