The Lagos state All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate was full of confidence as he assured the Eti-Osa gathering of maintaining the tradition of excellence that the state is known for nationwide. He stated this today at his interactive town hall meeting with the Eti-Osa people, in the Ikoyi-Obalende Local Community Development Area.
Ambode restated the essence of the interactive session as a desire to listen to the people’s demands and concerns, which will form the thrust of his administration. The gubernatorial candidate said the primary responsibility of any government is to uphold the interests of its people. While promising to continue the good works in the state, he added that his administration, when elected, will prioritize their welfare and protect their interests by implementing people-based policies and programmes.
Traditional rulers, religious and civil society groups, the body of Artisans, market women and men together with the Eti-Osa youths participated in the interaction, and re all unanimous in the expression of support for continuity in Lagos.
Ambode was joined at the interactive session by Senator representing Lagos Central, Senator Oluremi Tinubu (OON), who enjoined the people to express pragmatic support, first by getting their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs), and then by actually voting and defending their votes for the APC on Election Day.
