The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, was at the media briefing for the Buhari-Osinbajo Fund Raising, held today at the Lagos State house, Marina, Lagos.

The Governor of the state, who is also the Director of the Fund Raising Committee, Governor Babatunde Fashola, stated that the APC’s campaign fund raising embraces the ordinary man as a stakeholder and will be different from the traditional ones.

“Our desire to run a transparent campaign system both at the state and Federal level is borne out of the desire to involve the ordinary people into the scheme of things in this nation. By introducing this democratic way of raising funds that accommodate those who can vote and even those who can’t, we are on the right path of giving this nation back to the ordinary people”.

While giving reference to Ambode’s campaign system, Governor Fashola stressed that the party remains committed to running a honest and transparent campaign in which everybody has a stake.
