The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in Lagos, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, today joined the state’s Governor, Governor Babatunde Fashola in the commissioning of Solar-powered Panels built to enhance e-Learning at the Lagos State Model College, Meiran.
The Governor stated that the project is one many that proves that the APC’s government represents good governance aimed at bettering the lives of the people, both young and old.
“The government at the centre have failed in the provision of electricity and the fact that we have provided this solar panels proves that we outthink and outwork them”
Fashola then stated that a vote for the APC, that is, Akinwunmi Ambode in Lagos and then Buhari-Osinbajo at the Federal level will ensure continuity in the actualization of impactful governance.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Ambode said the creation of e-Learning in Lagos schools is the present mainstay of education, promising more of such from the APC government.
“I am vastly experienced in the affairs of good governance having worked in this productive democratic dispensation for the past 15 years, and what I am committed to is continuity of these good works in the next for 4 years”, Ambode said.
He reiterated Govenor Fashola’s view that “a vote for continuity and a rejection of “trial and error” will ensure that some other 172 public schools in Lagos also get the Solar panels and enhance their level of learning.
