The happiness of Lagos State residents plying Ikotun-Ejigbo-Isolo road knew no bound as Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, assured them that work will soon commence on the road. Mr. Ambode gave this assurance when he paid unscheduled visit to the Ikotun-Ejigbo-Isolo environs of Lagos State.

The Governor said, “I have come personally to see for myself the state of Ejigbo road and it is very clear that this is totally unacceptable and there is no other remedy than to let our officials come to site within the next one week and the people of this neighbourhood should be guaranteed that work will start on Ikotun-Ejigbo-Isolo axis ‎within the next seven days.”

Mr. Ambode also mentioned the fact that the road which is a link road that connect several Local Government Areas is too important to be left in the current state.
