Akinwunmi Ambode was hosted to a Grand House Reception at the illustrious Niteshift Coliseum in Lagos. It was the 77th of its kind.
The honour bestowed on the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate comes on the heels of his recognition as a worthy governorship hopeful in the state.
He was ushered into the premises by the Guv’nor of the Coliseum, Ken Caleb Oluhemse, amidst fireworks and an exchange of pleasantries with eminent Lagosians and dignitaries who had come to support Mr. Ambode.
Ambode was described as an unassuming gentleman, well educated, humble, experienced and competent enough to merit all the support and love he is receiving from a majority of Lagosians.
Kunle Bakare moderated the interactive session where Ambode had the opportunity to state his plans and programmes for Lagos, answering questions relating to the sustenance of the economy, security, tax, infrastructure, education, job creation and the menace of miscreants.
Ambode echoed the truth that Lagos has experienced undeniable growth in these areas of concerns, stating therefore that his mandate and message to them is a Lagos that keeps working.
He was later presented with a plaque of honour the elders of the coliseum in recognition of his distinguished achievements in the matters of governance which have earned him a considerable edge over other gubernatorial candidates.
The dignitaries present in support of Mr. Ambode at the event include, Olorogun Sunny Kuku, Chief Kunle Ogunade, Senator Olorunnibe Mamora, among others.
