The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Lagos, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, today assured the people of Ifako-Ijaiye and Ojokoro that more fruits of good governance will be experienced at the Local Government and community development levels in the next four years.

He stated this through his running mate, Dr. (Mrs) Oluranti Adebule, during the productive interactive town hall meeting with traditional rulers, traders, youths, artisans, and residents of the Local Government Area (LGA), held at the Glorious Multipurpose Hall, Ifako-Ijaiye.

Adebule stated that the government of the APC is resolved to continue the good works in Lagos, and that one of the ways it has earmarked to ensure that continuity is by giving governance back to the communities and the local government areas.

“Our government, by the grace of God when elected, will empower our LGAs, LCDAs and community development councils, while complementing their efforts with favorable policies that will speed up development at all levels”

She expressed confidence that such move will proffer solutions to most of their yearnings in the LGA, noting that no sector will be left neglected in their course of sustaining excellence in Lagos.
