The Leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Lagos today charged all members to double their efforts and work hard to ensure that the Party emerges victorious at all levels in Saturday’s elections. The charge came today at a general meeting of the party at the Acme Road, Ogba, Ikeja secretariat of the party.
The meeting had in attendance many of the party’s top executives led by the National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the State Chairman of the Party, Chief Henry Ajomale, Senators Gbenga Ashafa and Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon as well as the governorship candidate of the party, Akinwunmi Ambode. Others were Senator-elect, Solomon Olamilekan and Speaker of the House of Assembly, Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji.
Asiwaju Tinubu who chaired the meeting enjoined the members to take the second lap of elections very seriously. “There is a great need to surpass our efforts in the Presidential election. We must complete this victory by ensuring that Ambode and all our House of Assembly candidates win on Saturday.”
“From now on till campaigns are over, we must all embark on a rigorous door-to-door campaign exercise to create more awareness for our reliable candidates and our party’s manifesto. Go out and urge the people to turnout for the APC”, Tinubu said. He directed party leaders in each senatorial districts of the state to highlight critical areas that can hinder turnout during the elections for a solution before the D-day.
