There were rains of prayers and endorsements on the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Lagos state, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, as he was at the office of Iyaloja-General Nigeria, Chief (Mrs) Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, to felicitate with her on the occasion of her first year in office.

Mr. Ambode was received into the occasion by the Iyaloja-General herself together with a crowd of market women and men, amidst a lot of jubilation and cheer. Their almost ceaseless outpouring of prayers indicated their total acceptance and massive support of his candidacy ahead of the elections.

The governorship candidate was full of appreciation for the overwhelming show of support expressed by the Iyalojas and Babalojas. He noted that he won’t forget them at all, noting their importance to the success of any government.

“With God and with your practical support during the elections, I am sure we will be victorious”, Ambode added.

He was joined at the event by his wife, Mrs. Bolanle Patience Ambode, and his running-mate, Dr. (Mrs) Oluranti Idiat Adebule.
