Following the state-wide jubilation that marked the announcement of Akinwunmi Ambode as the Governor-elect of Lagos state yesterday, his supporters continued the celebration today at his Gbagada campaign office. Ambode polled 811, 994 votes to beat his main opponent, Jimi Agbaje of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who got 659,788 votes.
