\t\t\t\tLagos State governor-elect, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode on Friday received the report of the Transition Committee, using the opportunity to reiterate his commitment to maintain the Centre of Excellence status the State is known for.<\/p>\n

The 10-member Committee, headed by the Deputy Governor-elect, Dr. Idiat Oluranti Adebule was set up to make the transition between the out-going administration of Governor Babatunde Fashola and the in-coming one of Mr. Ambode a seamless one.<\/p>\n<\/a>\n

In his brief remarks, Mr. Ambode thanked members of the committee for a job well done and for submitting on schedule. He said the report will assist the in-coming government in ensuring that the tradition of excellence that the state is known for continued.<\/p>\n

While submitting the report, the Deputy Governor-elect expressed appreciation on behalf of the members and thanked Mr Ambode for giving them the opportunity to serve.
