Ambode said the state has enjoyed developmental transformation in its 16 years of democracy, adding that what it now needs is continuity, an upgrade of such transformations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Ambode displaced rumours and fears of “godfatherism” and “high-tax” that were raised by the listeners by asking that the people should take objective look at the transparent primaries conducted by the party. He urged the people not to entertain such fears, and also consider the fact that the people-oriented policies of the party APC have consistently yielded great benefits.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
He rounded off the session by assuring a non-violent and non acrimonious election, simply because he practices a politics of “people and issues”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
