Akinwunmi Ambode visits and shares his manifesto with Traditional Rulers in Ojo

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Lagos state, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, today paid a courtesy call to the traditional rulers in the Ojo division of the state. Together with him was his running mate, Dr. (Mrs) Oluranti Adebule, APC National leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the governor of Lagos state, His Excellency, Governor Babatunde Fashola.

Ambode assured the Obas present that the Ojo division will remain significant in the scheme of things in Lagos, especially now that the vision is clear about sustaining the tradition of excellence. He presented himself as being competent and experienced enough to achieving continuity that Lagos deserves. He therefore solicited their support and blessings, while also urging them to further canvass the votes of their subjects in favour of his candidacy.

Asiwaju Tinubu and Governor Fashola together appraised Ambode’s capabilities that make him stand-out and best-fit to take the state to the next level. Speaking on behalf of the Obas present, the Onijanikin of Ijanikin, Oba Momodu Ashafa, thanked Ambode for honouring their invitation and assured him that the votes of Ojo will be delivered for the APC candidate. Other traditional rulers present at the meeting were the Olojo of Ojo, Oba Rufai Adeniyi, the Oniba of Iba, Oba Y.G Oseni, the Osolu of Irewe, Oba Abideen Durosimi and the Oloto of Oto, Oba Olanrewaju Ikuyamiku Aina.

They together bestowed royal blessings on Ambode and prayed for the success of his candidature in the February election.
